What is Night to Shine
Night to Shine is held on the same night at every host church all around the globe on Valentine’s Day weekend. This year it will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026.
Where is prom being held?
Naples Night to Shine is hosted at Center Point Community Church in Naples, FL, at:

What can I expect at Night to Shine?
Every guest of Night to Shine enters this complimentary event on a red carpet, complete with a warm welcome from a friendly crowd and paparazzi. Once inside, guests receive the royal treatment, including hair and makeup stations, shoe shining stations, limousine rides, corsages and boutonnieres, a catered dinner, prom favors for each honored guest, a Respite Room for parents and care-takers, and of course, dancing! Each guest receives a crown or tiara because they are all kings and queens. It is a night not only for guests to shine, but for churches to shine, for volunteers to shine, and most importantly, for Christ to shine. Who is invited to Night to Shine?
Any person with a physical, cognitive, or developmental disability who is age 14 -100.
What is the cost for a guest to attend Night to Shine?
Nothing! Night to Shine is free of charge for all of our guests and their parents/caretakers.
Will guests be left alone at any point?
No. Every guest at Night to Shine is paired with a volunteer Buddy for the evening. Buddies are responsible for accompanying their assigned guest throughout the entire evening, providing companionship and any assistance that the guest may need.
If you have a specific Buddy for you, that is confirmed and volunteering, please note in your registration the name of the buddy.
What do I need to do to attend?
Guest registration will open on November 16th at 9am EST; stay tuned for more information!
Is there a cutoff date to sign up?
There is no cutoff date for guest registration; however, space IS limited, and once spots are filled we will start a waitlist. We anticipate 125 guest registration spaces, so register as soon as we open!
What information will I need to provide about the guest I am signing up?
We ask that you share with us any dietary restrictions or information regarding your child or guest that will help us best pair them with a Buddy for the evening. If your child or guest requires extra attention, please let us know! We have many volunteers who have a lot of experience, and we do our best to match up Buddies and our honored guests based on individual needs. If you already have someone committed to volunteering to being the "buddy" for your guest - put their name in additional comments when registering.
Do you provide attire for guests?
We host an Attire Selection Event which will be on Sat Jan 10th 10:30am - 2pm at Center Point Community Church. If you are a registered guest for the Naples prom, you can come pick out a complimentary outfit that you get to keep! For the ladies, we have ball gowns, dresses, jewelry, wraps and purses. For the men, we have suits, ties, vests, shoes, shirts, slacks and some hats.

What if I, or my guest, cannot make the Attire Selection event?
If you cannot make the Attire Selection Event, we suggest visiting one of these Thrift Stores that offer gowns, suits, dresses at a very affordable price (especially on weekends they run great sales at almost 70% off).

I am a parent or caretaker for a guest at Night to Shine. What are my options?
We are so excited to have your loved one as an honored guest at Night to Shine. As a parent or caretaker, we encourage you enjoy the onsite complimentary Respite Room we have prepared for the evening. You will be able to relax, be pampered with massages, nail techs, pool/card games, prizes, enjoy a catered dinner and live entertainment/dancing, and watch your child or guest enjoy prom in the other room via our live feed. Some consider this a "date night" so dress as you wish, casual chic or dressy. Space is limited to 2 people per guests, so please indicate your intention to attend when registering your guests.
I am a parent or caretaker for a guest at Night to Shine. Can I attend as their Buddy?
We encourage parents and caretakers to enjoy the Respite Room we’ve prepared. We can ensure that your child/guest is in excellent hands! Not only are they paired with a Buddy, but there are also 20 highly trained special needs assistants in the room, along with EMS personnel at all times. Trust us, we've got this! We can always come get you if really needed.
If, however, you feel that your child/guest must be accompanied by their caretaker, please have that parent/caretaker register as a "BUDDY" volunteer and put the name of the guest in additional comments so they are assigned to them.
Do I need to complete any additional forms before attending Night to Shine?
All attendees (both guests and those joining in our Respite Room) must complete and return a Media Consent form. Download a copy below and be sure to return it via email before Night to Shine or bring it with you on the evening of Night to Shine.
